For some of you who are wondering how you can help Kathi, Mike Carsten or Tate Mueller while Kathi is undergoing her next steps in her recovery I wanted to share a link.
Kathi has a beautifully written Carepages Blog that either she updates herself or Mike does.

You can read up about what you can do to help the family out too!  Whether it be making meals ,which I am sure Mike and the boys will appreciate while Kathi is gone, unless you're a gourmet chef Mike;) Or helping them out in any other way.  Anything you can do I know will be appreciated by them!

For those of you who are wondering about how we did for our benefit dinner  for Lisa Tony AJ and Haley Dorschner the night of our spring concert heres the scoop. Despite the frantic sand bagging and impending flood disaaster, 100's of people being displaced from their homes, that was beginning to take place that very night, we still managed to make our match with Thrivent Financial. Together with Thrivent and the wonderful supporters and family of our chorus we donated $2100 to the Dorschner family.  We also have some donation money that helped us provide the food leftover that we are donating back to the Dorschner family as well.  You may not know but the Dorschner's have been displaced from their home as Lisa continues to heal from her stroke.  They will continue to need our help. And of course please don't ever stop praying! 

After seeing these two wonderful women continue to heal and fight and win against all odds I will never doubt the power of prayers again!
